The following instructions are how to setup your Outlook application to connect to GMAIL.
Open Outlook. You will be promtped to enter your username and then to click on Connect. | ![]() |
You will be prompted again, this time from Google to enter your Google mail credentials. Enter your email address and click on NEXT | ![]() |
Enter your Google GMAIL password and click on Sign In. | ![]() |
You may be prompted for 2-step verification IF you have set up MFA on your google account. The easiest way is to click on Try another way to sign in | ![]() |
Scroll down until you see Get a text message with a verification code at (***) ***-** and the last two digits of your cell phone number. | ![]() |
A text code will be sent to your cell phone as a text message. In your latest messages, you will have a code beginning with a G - Type in the 6 digit code and then put a check park on Don't as again on this device Now click on the button marked DONE. | ![]() |
Now you will be prompted to allow Microsoft Apps & Services access to your Google Account. Scroll down until you see the button on the bottom that says Allow. Click on the Allow button. | ![]() ![]() |
Microsoft Outlook will now show you that the account was successfully added. Remove the check mark from Set Up Outlook Mobile on my phone too then click on the DONE button. | ![]() |
Outlook will now start loading. | ![]() |
Once Outlook opens, you will start seeing your mail and your subsequent folders that you setup in Gmail. | ![]() |
